IP Awareness for Companies
Raising awareness of patents among employees
Individual and holistic support
Why is IP awareness the key to success?
In many companies, it is above all the development departments that have the true spirit of innovation . Engineers and scientists invent new things every day, but they often lack the understanding of how to properly protect their ideas. This not only leads to untapped potential, but also to frustration and uncertainty in dealing with patents. But the correct handling of IP is also an issue in marketing and sales.

Strong IP awareness ensures that your employees know what is important: They recognize which ideas are worth protecting, work more efficiently with patent attorneys and bring innovations to market maturity in a targeted manner. Thus, the topic of patents is not seen as a burdensome duty, but as a strategic advantage.
I keep getting inquiries
Something is happening in the corporate world! Many companies know that intellectual property is crucial to their success – but often the right approaches are lacking to fully exploit its potential. Traditional training often only scratches the surface and does not anchor awareness of intellectual property in the long term.
This is exactly where I was approached again and again: How do you manage to convey IP knowledge in an understandable and practical way? How can IP be integrated into everyday work in such a way that it becomes tangible and relevant for all employees ? How can a corporate culture be created that has a positive focus on innovation?
In the meantime, I work with several larger and sometimes very well-known companies.
Reimagining Classroom Training: More Than Just Training
Classroom training is a central component when it comes to effectively training employees in patent departments and beyond. However, many classic training courses reach their limits in practice: they are often dry, not very interactive and do not sufficiently address the specific needs of the participants. The result? Low motivation, lack of practical relevance and a transfer of knowledge that rarely sticks in the long term.
With my support, face-to-face training becomes an experience. I develop tailor-made concepts that not only impart knowledge, but also actively involve the participants. In doing so, I rely on varied methods: interactive exercises, case studies from practice and an approach that is both technically precise and understandable. Instead of frontal teaching, there are workshops that encourage people to think and participate.
My goal is not only to train patent departments and other teams in the company, but to empower them. The training courses are practical and directly address the challenges that arise in everyday work – from the correct recording of inventions to cooperation with external patent attorneys.
In this way, each training course is individually adapted to the needs of the company and its employees and ensures that knowledge is not only imparted, but anchored. Together, we turn classic training courses into a modern, lively format that lays the foundation for a strong IP culture .

Knowledge library with e-learnings
Companies often specifically request e-learning in the form of videos , but it is usually the patent department that approaches me. They already offer training, but have realized that having access to the most important IP topics at all times relieves the burden on employees and makes the department more efficient. But the time and know-how to create professional e-learning courses are missing. It’s not just about technology and video production: When it comes to educational videos on patent topics, it’s important that the content is taught by someone who is really deep in the topic – ideally a patent attorney or patent engineer. And at least as important: The speaker must present the content in a lively and convincing way in order to get employees excited about the topic.
That’s exactly what I offer: Individually designed formats that I develop in close cooperation with you – technically sound, professionally produced and with a passion for patents.
A tailor-made concept for sustainable IP awareness
IP training is a good start, but it takes a little more to truly make a lasting change . For example, it is also about looking at the areas that are often overlooked:
- What role does the topic of patents play in the company?
- How is the patent department positioned in the company?
- Where do developers lose motivation due to complex processes?
- How can a digital learning library be provided?
Talk to me about it in a one-on-one lesson and we’ll look together at where your pain points are, how you are structurally positioned and what a holistic IP awareness strategy could look like.
